The (postponed) 2021 Palestinian presidential elections (Arabic: الانتخابات الرئاسية الفلسطينية 2021) were the presidential elections that were supposed to be held to choose the President of the State of Palestine on 13 July 2021, according to a decree issued by President Mahmoud Abbas on 15 January 2021.[2]

Hamas were happy about the announcement,[3] and so were the United Nations, the European Union,[4][5] and a number of countries.
